During the past year and with several lockdowns to endure, parishioners have been out and about the village walking along the many beautiful footpaths and country lanes. We are all very lucky to have such an amenity on our doorsteps. BUT. Many dog owners have forgotten the golden rule if you walk your dog...Stop. Bend down. Pick up your dog's poo. Put the bag in a designated bin. Not only is dog poo unsightly it is also a health hazard. Who wants a piece of that on their shoes indoors. It doesn't take long and it makes the village a nicer place for everyone. There are two dog bins in the village. One at the top of Church Road on the bend with Mill Road and New Road and a second one at Depden Lane close to the crossroad with Chedburgh Road and Factory Lane. Your Parish Council have negotiated with WSC to have these bins emptied regularly so please use them.
