Overgrown footpaths around the village

Just a quick comment, but if you are walking along any of the footpaths around the village please think about what you are wearing. Long boots and legs  covered may serve you much better than flip flops and a short skirt or pair of shorts. Landowners have the responsibility of keeping these areas cut and at this time of the year they are generally not cut so that wildlife can raise their young and use the long grass to find insects to feed their young.
